Central Pennsylvania Tasting Trail presents it’s 1st Annual Holiday Craft Beverage Showcase.

Join us on Sunday, November 12th between 1 and 5 pm at Toftrees Golf Resort to experience sips, samples, seminars and shopping--all focused on the holiday season! Members of the Central PA Tasting Trail will be on hand offering tastes of their products as well as selling beverages by the glass, bottles, gift sets & merchandise. Other vendors like Tait Farm and Mount NitaNee Kombucha will also be on site, with local food vendors Village Eating House, Blonde Bistro and Toftrees’ The Field Burger & Tap selling delicious bites to eat while you sip and shop.

A unique feature to the Holiday Showcase will be 5 seminars that will be open to attendees to attend (sign up will be on a first-come, first-served basis at the registration desk the day of the event).

Seminars will include:

Holiday Beverages for a Crowd: Eggnog, Mulled Wine, and Spiked Punch This seminar will teach you how to make all of the above, as well as have the opportunity to taste the finished product!

Festive Seasonal Cocktails 101: Brandon Wagner of Big Spring Spirits will teach attendees how to make a few cocktails sure to keep your spirits up during the holiday season.

Porters and Stouts: Tasting and Comparing the Beers of Winter Led by Sam Komlenic of Otto’s Pub and Brewery, taste and learn about these winter beverages, how they are similar yet different and what goes into making them so.

How to Taste Whiskey: Distiller Phil Jensen of Big Spring Spirits will lead a class on how to properly taste whiskey, from what kind of glass to use, the effect of adding water as well as what to look for in terms of age and proof and how they are related.

*How to Pair Craft Beverages with Your Holiday Dinner: How wine, beer, spirits, and cider can pair with traditional holiday meals. Food sampling will be provided by The Field, beverages will be provided by Tasting Trail members. (There will be two sessions of this seminar, and an $10 upcharge will be required at registration to attend this seminar)
